My own sweet kids

Sometimes when I have lot’s of editing to do, and lot’s of house work to do, and lot’s of whining kids…. all I really want to do is get outside and shoot something that inspires me.  That is exactly what I did yesterday.  I had every reason to as well.  I had just purchased both of my sweet girls new outfits, it was a gorgeous day, and it was Monday.  I mean what other excuse do I need!  They were true photographers children, and were happy to drive around until we found just the right spot, and then gladly tromped around in tall grass, and old stuff until I found just the right spot.  They are getting so good at posing and listening to direction, they make it quite easy on me these days.  My younger boys on the other hand… not as much!

Adorable girl in a white dress with pink flowers and a purple flower hair clip, exploring outdoors. Cute girl with flower headband laughing at a farm stand in Brookings. WELCOME

I’m a pretty simple gal, I love Jesus, my handsome hubby and my 4 not so tiny kiddos teenagers. I love the beach and feeling the sun on my shoulders and the wind in my hair. I love wild color, and crazy love. I love coffee and bacon and tacos. Tending my garden and chickens feed my soul. If you will let me in, I promise to capture a little part of your one wild and beautiful life, and all the things that make YOU happy.
