Sometimes I take a break from shooting clients. From doing formal assignments. And I just shoot from the heart. I have to remember what I love and why I started doing photography in the first place. Sometimes I hop in the car, and drive. I end up pulling off the road at whatever cool spot strikes my fancy. Wherever the light is streaming in beautiful rays, those are the places that call to me. Where things are old, and crusty I see beauty and potential. Good thing I have a quiet little, old soul who is willing to be patient and ride along with me to be my model. God knew I needed at least one like this. We found the light together, and it was magical.
